This is the main fuselage plug. On the front you see a mounted engine core and the front cowling piece. This piece is a test piece. It was made with scraps of fiberglass to test the mold break, gel coat and epoxy combination. The resulting piece has a mirror smooth gloss finish right out of the mold, and proves this is a winning combination. The cowling you see above isn't painted or finished in any way.
